What You Will Do
As a Senior Product Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-performing user-facing applications in a service-oriented environment. You will:
- Build new, and improve existing user-facing features with reusable and scalable components, to enhance user experience and align with business goals.
- Improve and maintain existing systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and long-term sustainability.
- Drive product development by collaborating with the platform team, PMs, designers, and stakeholders.
- Make technical decisions and guide the development team in best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor other developers, and contribute to a strong engineering culture.
- Identify and address technical debt while balancing new feature development.
- Work in an agile environment, continuously improving development processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, React and Next.js.
- Deep understanding of system architecture, software design patterns, and performance optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of automation strategies, including test automation (Cypress or similar).
- Ability to lead and mentor developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
- Proactive and independent, with a strong ability to take initiative and efficiently solve complex problems.
- Innovative mindset, continuously exploring new ideas, technologies, and approaches to enhance workflows and product development.
What Sets You Apart
- Experience with recommendations and personalization features.
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered development tools (e.g., AI-assisted code generation, testing, automation, debugging) or a strong willingness to adopt and integrate them into workflows.
- UI/UX experience and the ability to build software from high-level concepts.
- Background in event management or similar industries.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS) and infrastructure as code.
- Experience working in a product-driven team, delivering customer-centric solutions.
